11.11 Pet Care Ads in Malaysia (2026)
How Malaysian pet care brands plan 11.11 on Wednesday 11 November 2026: the marketplace window, the Deepavali collision three days earlier, the stock-up offers that close a pawrent at peak intent, what the November auction really costs, and a checklist working backwards from the date.
Updated July 2026 · Xanny Lee, CEO
11.11 is the peak of Malaysia's year-end mega-sale ladder, the point where you spend what 9.9 and 10.10 taught you rather than run another test. Lazada Malaysia published its 11.11 2025 results as lifts over its own 9.9 campaign, with LazMall average order value up 20%, and Shopee Malaysia reported RM685 million in shopper savings, RM170 million of it from livestream and video deals. For pet care the peak means selling further ahead, not louder: a carton or multipack at a stated ringgit price, a trial set that wins a first order, and the health or takaful proof sitting behind the number. One thing is new in 2026. Deepavali falls on Sunday 8 November, three days before 11.11, so the festive window and the pre-sale window are the same fortnight for the first time.
By early November a Malaysian pet owner has already been shown two mega-sales. She skipped a bag at 9.9, compared prices at 10.10, and by 11.11 she is buying three months of food instead of one. That is what makes 11.11 the peak rather than another round: the intent is at its highest, the auction is at its most expensive, and there is no third chance to find out which hook works. The brands that finish the day ahead are not the ones that briefed in November. They pulled the numbers their earlier flights produced, put the strongest mechanic behind the hook that held, and had the creative approved before the Deepavali long weekend swallowed the calendar. This page covers the 2026 window and its collision with Deepavali, the offers a pawrent responds to at peak, what November costs and how to pace it, the formats that carry the week, and a checklist that works backwards from Wednesday 11 November.
The 2026 window: Deepavali and 11.11 in one fortnight
11.11 lands on Wednesday 11 November 2026, and neither marketplace treats it as a single day. Lazada Malaysia's 2025 edition ran voucher collection from 7 November, put a 28-hour marathon on the clock at 8pm on 10 November, and kept the festival open until 11:59pm on 13 November. Shopee Malaysia opened with kickoff events on 1 and 2 November, was live in market from early in the month, made 11 November the peak day with RM11 Knockout Deals and free shipping with no minimum spend, and closed on 14 November. Plan for roughly that shape again, plus one genuinely new problem. Deepavali 2026 lands on Sunday 8 November, and most states take the replacement holiday on Monday the 9th, which puts the tail of a three-day weekend against the eve of that marathon. In 2025 Deepavali sat on 20 October, a full 22 days ahead of 11.11, and Malaysian festive retail promotions had closed well before the marketplace kickoff. In 2026 that gap collapses to three days, which means the festive creative window and the 11.11 pre-sale window compete for the same budget, the same auction and the same attention. For a pet brand the collision cuts both ways, because the same long weekend sends owners balik kampung: boarding, sitting and a pre-travel groom peak while everyone else is bidding on hampers. Approve creative by mid-October, since no small team produces two campaigns inside the same fortnight.
What closes a pawrent when intent is at its highest
Peak intent does not make a pet owner buy differently. It makes her buy further ahead. Food, litter and supplements run down on a schedule, so the 11.11 job is turning a one-month order into a three-month one, and Petico.my sells exactly that moment with the ad that catches an owner down to her last scoop. Lead with the size of the stock-up and price it in ringgit: a carton, a multipack, two bottles with a free ear cleaner, a stated saving rather than a floating percentage. Platform behaviour now rewards that. Ipsos Malaysia, surveying a nationally representative sample of 1,024 Malaysians aged 18 to 74 in June 2025, found attractive promotions and rewards had replaced quality of products and services as the number one reason Malaysians pick an e-commerce platform, with good value for money third. The premium argument still has to sit behind the number, because pet food asks an owner to pay more: RAMBOO PET weighs a freeze-dried pack against a whole chicken, REAL POWER and Notti Pet Food frame food as functional for skin, gut and digestion, and that proof is what stops a mega-sale price reading as clearance. Services and protection play a different game. FURIIStyle sells grooming at a ringgit price, PetBacker sells boarding into the travel weekend, and Oyen cannot discount takaful into a marathon, so its 11.11 story stays the vet bill that got paid. A trial set, the way REAL POWER prices one from RM19, is the cheapest first order available at the most expensive moment of the year.
What the peak auction costs, and how to pace the money
The number every pet brand wants here does not exist. Nobody publishes an independent, dated Malaysian Meta CPM benchmark with a method attached, and the ringgit ranges you will be quoted come from individual agency client books that name no sample size and contradict each other several times over. So the only honest benchmarks are foreign ones, used as foreign ones. Superads, which builds its medians from more than US$3 billion in Facebook ad spend across the accounts using its tool, put the global median CPM at US$24.26 in November 2025, the peak of its 13-month series and 28.7% above the US$18.86 it recorded in July 2025, with December softening after it. Its United States series peaked higher again at US$27.47. One is a global aggregate and the other is a US aggregate; Malaysia appears in neither set of country breakouts, so read them as direction of travel and never as your number. Your number is the CPM you actually paid at 9.9 and 10.10 in your own account, which is the real reason those two rungs were worth running. Pace to it. The first call on 11.11 budget is buyers due a restock, then the video viewers, visitors and cart abandoners the earlier sales built. Cold prospecting is the last thing to fund at November prices, with one caveat that is specific to this category: a first bag bought at a peak CPM can pay back across a year of repeat orders, which a one-off purchase never does. Split the Deepavali and 11.11 budgets before either flight starts, or the earlier one quietly eats the reserve meant for the marathon.
The formats that carry a pet 11.11
The marketplace side of 11.11 has gone video-first, and the figures Shopee Malaysia published for 2025 are hard to argue with: sellers using Shopee Live together with Shopee Video recorded up to 26 times more orders than on a normal business day, content-led sellers up to 14 times more, and the two surfaces drew over 1.3 billion views across the campaign. The same footage does the work on Meta. Short vertical video carries the proof an owner needs before a price means anything, the breathing and coat testimonials Lignosus and RoyalHug run, the odour demonstration Biofitrah leans on, the grooming before-and-after from FURIIStyle. A single static carries the offer card, where the ringgit figure and the pack count have to be legible in the half second a thumb pauses, which is the structure behind RAMBOO PET's whole-chicken comparison. Carousel earns its keep here more than in most categories, because an ingredient walkthrough, an allergy-care recipe or a tear-stain sequence genuinely needs frames, the way Notti Pet Food, DF DogFood and RoyalHug build them. Dynamic product ads then chase the exact bag a shopper viewed. Language is a live decision rather than a default: premium freeze-dried and probiotic lines skew Chinese, insurance, supplements and services lean English, home odour lands warmly in Malay. Export each asset tall at 9:16 and square or near-square for the feed, run three to five variants against every ad set, and have the follow-up batch built before the first one tires, because a window that opens in early November and closes on the 14th will outlast any single hero film.
Your 11.11 pet care planning checklist
Put Wednesday 11 November 2026 at the end of a calendar and fill in backwards. By mid-September, pull your own 9.9 and 10.10 reports and name two things: the hook that held its cost per result, and the CPM you actually paid. In early October, split the Deepavali and 11.11 money before either flight is briefed. By late October, lock the offer you can fulfil, count the stock behind the carton and the trial set, and settle the sale duration you will print on the creative, because Malaysian rules require the advertisement to state it and require written notice to the Controller when a sale runs more than three days. Through the first week of November, run the teaser and voucher-collection wave, rebuild your custom audiences and set exclusions so one household is not billed for twice. Weight the heaviest spend on the pre-sale evening of 10 November and the day itself, aimed at your warmest pools. Hold a tail slice for 12 to 14 November, while both marketplaces are still open and the auction has thinned, and keep a service message live for owners still travelling. Check the dull things: the page loads on a phone, the code applies at checkout, the flavour you promoted is in the warehouse. Before you brief anything, look back: the free Meta Ad Library shows what rivals run now, and a searchable archive of Malaysian pet care ads, such as AdPlay.ai, makes that fast by brand and by angle. Then hand the crowd to 12.12, the cheapest audience left in the year.

Frequently asked questions
When is 11.11 in Malaysia in 2026, and how long does the sale window actually run?
11.11 falls on Wednesday 11 November 2026, but the selling sits either side of it. In 2025 Lazada Malaysia opened pre-sale voucher collection on 7 November, began a 28-hour marathon at 8pm on 10 November, and closed the festival at 11:59pm on 13 November. Shopee Malaysia held kickoff events on 1 and 2 November, was in market from early in the month with the peak day on 11 November carrying RM11 Knockout Deals and free shipping with no minimum spend, and ended on 14 November. Plan for the same shape: creative approved by mid-October, a teaser and voucher wave in the first week of November, the heaviest weight on the evening of the 10th and the day itself, and a tail through 14 November.
Deepavali is three days before 11.11 in 2026. How should a pet brand handle that?
Decide the split before either campaign is briefed, because they will otherwise draw from the same budget in the same week. Deepavali 2026 is Sunday 8 November, and with most states taking the replacement holiday on the Monday, the festival weekend runs out just as the marketplaces start their pre-sale push. In 2025 the two sat 22 days apart and never overlapped. Pet care has an advantage other categories do not: the travel weekend is genuine demand for boarding, sitting, grooming and a pre-departure stock-up, so the Deepavali flight can sell services and the 11.11 flight can sell the carton. Run them as two offers to two intents rather than one campaign stretched over ten days.
Do marketplaces publish pet-category results for 11.11 in Malaysia?
No, and it is worth knowing before someone quotes you a number. Shopee Malaysia named Home and Living, Health and Beauty and Automotive as its top-selling categories at 11.11 2025. Lazada Malaysia published category lifts for smart devices, computers and components, and gaming, all measured against its own 9.9 campaign. Pet care appears in neither release, and no Malaysian 11.11 pet-category performance figure has been published. Treat any pet-specific 11.11 statistic you are shown as unsourced until you see the release. Plan instead from what you can verify: the platform-wide window and mechanics, your own account costs from 9.9 and 10.10, and the offer structures the category already runs year round.
How much more expensive is Meta advertising in November, and is there a Malaysian CPM benchmark?
No Malaysian benchmark worth the name is published. Every ringgit CPM range in circulation traces back to one agency describing its own client book, without a sample size, and those ranges contradict each other several times over at the top end. The foreign series are usable if you label them. Superads, working from more than US$3 billion in Facebook ad spend across accounts using its tool, put the global median CPM at US$24.26 in November 2025, the peak of a 13-month series and 28.7% above July 2025, with December softening. Its United States series peaked at US$27.47. One is global, one is American, and Malaysia is broken out in neither, so use them for shape only. Budget off the CPM you actually paid at 9.9 and 10.10 in your own account, which is the only Malaysian figure you will get that has a method behind it.
What pet care offers convert best at 11.11?
Stock-up structures, because pet food and litter are replenishment purchases and a peak sale is when an owner buys ahead. A carton or multipack at one clear ringgit price leads. A bundle that adds a scoop, an ear cleaner or a second flavour protects margin better than a deeper unit cut. A trial set at a low entry price wins a first order from someone who has been comparing brands since 9.9. Behind the price, keep the reason to pay more visible: the freeze-dried comparison, the functional skin and gut claim, the coat or breathing testimonial. Services sell differently. Grooming and boarding convert on a stated ringgit session price and on availability over the travel weekend, and pet takaful sells the paid vet bill rather than a discount.
Do I have to state the sale dates in a Malaysian 11.11 ad?
Yes. Every 11.11 ad is a cheap sale price advertisement, so the Trade Descriptions (Cheap Sale Price) Regulations 1997, as amended in 2019, apply directly. The advertiser must specify the duration of the sale in the advertisement, and no false or misleading statement may be made in a cheap sale price advertisement. Where a sale runs more than three days, which most 11.11 windows do, written notice must be served on the Controller not later than one day before it starts, and a single sale may not exceed 31 days. On the struck-through price, the rules define it as the latest price charged before the sale began, with no minimum period attached, and the onus of proving that price lies on the person charged. Keep the pricing records.
Should I advertise my Shopee and Lazada listings or my own store at 11.11?
Both, with different jobs. During the window the marketplaces own the traffic, the stacked vouchers and the buyer trust, and their 2025 numbers show where the volume sat: Shopee Malaysia reported RM685 million in shopper savings with RM170 million from livestream and video deals, and Lazada Malaysia recorded LazMall average order value 20% above its own 9.9 campaign. Deal ads pointing at your listings earn their place that week. Your own store keeps the margin and the customer, so it should carry what a listing cannot: a standing monthly food order, a size or life-stage path, first access for owners who have bought before. Run both and let the payback across the following quarter, not the sale week alone, decide next year's tilt.
Are the example ads on this page running for 11.11 right now?
No. They are representative angles from real Malaysian pet care brands, put here to show what the category converts on rather than to report what is in the feed today. Read them for structure: where the proof sits relative to the price, how a freeze-dried comparison anchors a premium claim, how a testimonial opens before the offer arrives, how a grooming or boarding ad states its ringgit price. That structure is what travels to an 11.11 campaign. For what is actually live, the free Meta Ad Library shows any advertiser's current creatives, including the pet brands you compete with.
